INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Tasslehoff Persians website. My name is Joan Taylor and my first experience with Persians was with a beautiful blue cream who came to us in 1975 called Claira, and although I never bred from her I was hooked on the breed! She was one of the old school girls with open faces and although they are slightly more typy than back in those days, these are the lines that I have tried to follow. I first started breeding my own Persian cats in 1986 with a pure blue girl called FLUFFELINE SWEET BRYONY. Since then I have acquired 7 breeding queens mainly from my own stock ... I specialize in blue (pure blue and blue/white breeding), blue-cream and white. In 1999 I bred my first Grand Champion and Grand Premier boy from my own stock TASSLEHOFF JEROME (shown below). He was made up to Grand Premier in 6 straight shows! All our breeding queens and our stud boy are PKD DNA NEGATIVE.
